New Order has always been electric in many ways. This album has that bridging effect of a capacitor. It's insulated. You can tell where they were musically from Ian to the release of Blue Monday. A pitch toward Pop in exclusivity while remaining open. I think that it could have done without the track "the Village" but that's what great albums do sometimes. -- xian
