With all of the albums that came out after Tupac's death, it's hard to remember which was the first one, but there's no mistaking the greatness of this album. Shakur was a very good lyricist and showed it on this album. Of course, when I made this CD illegally in my CD burning heyday, I just had to put on the best diss song ever recorded, "Hit 'Em Up."
