the name of this album exudes pulsating crotch pouches and the beat they all mooove to. I had a housemate once who knew when it was my radio (this album) annoying them and not my neighbors b/c the bass beat was always changing.... Still this album is sweetly danceable... this album could make Gumby or Jabba the Hutt start 'poppin and lockin'.
beautiful. even more so when it was stolen w/ my stereo in my house.. and they left the cd cover on my bedstand to taunt me. memories of mushrooms w/ these guys.. friends and the Masquerade in ATL.
this was the best x-mas gift ever! so appropo!. Also, i was listening to this in the car when someone asked curiously, "carl, why do you listen to this stuff?" I answered, "because it's fun!" The next song to come on was Mannie Fresh's 'Move Around', blaring the lyrics "I’m from the ghetto homey, I was raised on bread and baloney" This album feels good in my car.
this dude has a cool van. a nice eye opening intro to trip-hop for me - a white boy. everyone can enjoy this album, smoking a cigar in an old english library.
i don't know if i liked this b/c i was trying to get in touch w/ my feminine side or b/c i wish a woman could have liked me so much to have written something like this after we broke up, HA!
Nice list! 90-96 were great years for music - for anybody who was paying attention. That being said, my parents still prefer to listen to music they liked when they were a similar age. I think it has more to do with what you pay attention to (and not just what the radio feeds you). I like your #1 choice a lot... and that it's not from that era.
