I realize that we don't see much jazz on these lists, but if you're a fan at all (and/or you're a fan of any of the guest musicians -- Bela Fleck, Marc Ribot, Bill Frisell, John Scofield, Derek Trucks) you really ought to check out "Guitars" from McCoy Tyner. I just got it and it is already in my top 10 for the year and the album that, right NOW, I just can't get enough of.
