In Rainbows is so good I briefly considered making it my favorite Radiohead album of all time (which would of course make it the best album of all time) but then I came to my senses. It's still behind OK Computer but this is their best album in a long long time. House of Cards, Videotape, Weird Fishes are amazing and worth whatever you paid. I paid $8 for the download.
A friend sent me The Underdog and I was hooked. Maybe people who were into spoon "before they got big" will scoff but there's a reason why this is one of of the biggest indie albums of the past year.
I thought this album was severely under represented in top lists of 2007. After a disappointing 29 (that's the name of the album, not the number of albums Ryan has released in the past year), I thought RA came back pretty strong with this effort.
A very welcome "comeback" album by Buffalo Tom, one of the most underrated bands of the 90s. This album definitely delivers. Bill Janovitz has been releasing solo albums all along and it's good to hear the old Buffalo Tom sound back again.
I'll admit, I only paid $5 for the download, but it was more than worth it. Not my #1 album of that year, but close enough…sorry about the Kanye thing. Like Flash, there are 5 albums on this list I have not even heard. How the hell do you all find the time?! I'm going to wear out my bittorrent client this weekend. lol
