This is a real solid return effort by Travis after a long layoff of 4 years between studio albums. While no song reaches the heights of a "Driftwood" or "Side", it's a great collection of tunes that any Travis fan will love.
I thought the Pit was standing room. There were two links, one for Pit GA and then one for reserved seats. I of course went for reserved seats cause I'm old.
Just responded to you. I had 4 cue'd up for the pit and then it timed out. If you got through today - you should be getting pit tickets which are awesome. I should have arranged with you for one of us to buy 4. Let me know if you have any success on Saturday (i'm traveling). I'd be happy to take extras off your hands!
I got two tix (didn't want to be greedy) -- won't find out for a month where the seats are. I will be buying tix on sat and using the better ones, selling the others.
Vin - what's great is that they've already been in the studio (last month) and ironed out their next album. Their blogs on their band page detail their work. Sounds like they were truly inspired. Hope it stands up. I agree - Driftwood is their best tune.
