Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Bill Evans
A classic! Was thinking of putting 'Round About Midnight' on the list, because I really liked the first incarnation of Miles' band. But, Bill Evans' subtle playing here puts it over the top!

Again, perfection! Must have worn out five vinyl copies, before I started wearing out CD's of this album. The harmonica coming over the Hammond B-3 in 'You Shook Me' sends me to heaven.

totally forgot about Steely Dan's Aja. what a great album.
